Cvt transmission
My Nissan Altima 2012 worked fine on
Friday. Saturday morning I left my house and
lost all power! I had it towed to a local
mechanic who lower the pan and showed
more then a cup full of metal shavings.
Saying I need a new transmission costing
4000 to 4200. My car just hit 100,006 miles. I
then called Nissan customer consumer
affairs which told me to have it towed to
where I bought it.( a Nissan dealer). They had
it for 4 days and told me the car is running
fine. Mind you this car was not moving in
drive or reverse and now miraculously it
drives. The code for a mass airflow sensor
popped up. Which I didn’t buy nissans brand
costing $350. I went to autozone and
purchased one for $150. They clam I need
one from Nissan also a new cabin air filter.
My question is how the hell did they get my
car moving. I feel they did a bandaid on the
job they did to get me out of there
