Add oil! If oil is low, car won’t start or will shut off

It’s not an oil thing! Mine has done this too! Does your engine also sound different when it’s around 2000 RPMs? Mine started making a much louder sound, like I’m flooring it. First time it shut off, no dash warning lights, radio and blower stayed on. Second time it happens, it bucked like crazy, RPMs jumped all over, it accelerated itself, service esc warning came on and then it shut off. This time I was able to restart it but the car reved itself hard, bucked and jerked and settled down. After reading up on people issues, this is very common and honestly should be a recall. My car is 6.5 years old.

Mine just did this today I could have hit someone head on everyone who took their cars to the shop ended up eventually putting on battery cables and it fixed it scared me half to death

Hey y’all. Had the same issue myself. Topped of my tank then went on my way. Stopped to make a left and boom it shut off, got it started continued another 200 ft and turned itself off but started without hesitation. Put it into manual mode and acted as if it wanted to die had I not done that. Any idea wtf is going on?! 2013 with 90 k miles. Also needs an oil change...
