Hello guys, new to this. But I have a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT 2.4L Engine w/Flex fuel and I'm curious as to why it will sometimes start, and sometimes not. I believe and have been told it's my fuel pump. Did the checking for the clicking noise to know that it is pumping fuel, changed out the fuel relay with a new one and everything. Is it the fuel pump or like a connector of some sort? Like I said the weird thing is that it SOMETIMES happen. It has never shut off while driving, never acts up when I'm driving, it's only when I shut off the car completely and try to crank it back up again it sputters like it's a bad fuel pump but if I leave it alone for a couple of hours or a day it'll start back working. Help please.

hey john i have an 82 camaro that i put a 350 motor in it. i also added an electrical fuel pump instead of the mechanical pump. when i start my car she sounds great and i will put it in drive and start down the road she'll run great for about 2 miles then she sounds like its choking and dies. when i try to restart it in nuetral thers times it will run a lil rough and die when it is put in gear or there are times it won't start back up. what are your suggestions 3 Answers
