Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Experiencing delayed transmission up shift... rpm can reach 4,000 and
transmission does not shift...manual mode does not improve situation.

Time to have the transmission diagnosed. My guess is a replacement is in your future. The model year Altima you have uses a CVT transaxle, and they are not know for their reliability.
