2012 v6 cayenne 1st gear sluggish & high rims before going into 2nd

In automatic car occasionally will hardly move in 1st gear. Rpm's go up to 4k-5k but car
barely moves. After 4-5 seconds shifts into 2nd and is fine in rest of gears

How many miles on the car, and and errors on the dashboard? Maybe try getting a transmission fluid and filter change, including the torque converter. Its a fairly easy DIY job, plenty of tutorials online.
