but it did not include instructions on how to replace it.   so my question is this,  how many owners does it take to change the light bulb in a chevy volt  exterior rear view mirror?   How do you open the housing to replace the bulb?

From what I have read online, this seems to be a hot topic. Most people end up braking the mirror while trying to open it up. Sounds like the screws that hold it together are behind the mirror glass and are impossible to get to. I found this article that talks about taking the mirror apart: http://gm-volt.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-6890.html
