Chevy Impala 2012 terrible gas consumption and slow acceleration when I push on the gas pedal

Asked by GuruDKXG May 23, 2019 at 01:14 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Impala LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Chevy Impala 2012 LT,
1. The fuel consumption is so bad that a full tank
doesn’t  last 2 days.
2. Shuts off when the fuel gauge gets on the bar
before E (50miles - 60miles) for lack of fuel
3. Then when I put gas in it, it makes a weird noise
and then I have to hit the gas for it to pick up.
However if I don’t, it will stall.
4. Picks up really slow to accelerate with loud
useless rev haha

My 2004 Impala ls 3.8 is doing the same thing! I changed spark plugs and wires. Then cleaned MAF and new pressure sensor(MAP) and a pvc valve. It runs better after replacing the pressure sensor but still not right! Took it up the rd today and when i went to turn around i put it in reverse it sputter like low fuel! But smoothed out down the rd.
