Had the speed limiter or governor removed (re-calibrated) on mine... hits 215 - 220 kph no problem.

...goin to Montana, or the Autohahn? there has to be a place to open 'er up and stretch those legs a bit?
Boxchevy22 answered 11 years ago
thanks for the answers not going to montana or germany but when i get it im going to open it up just trying to see how fast it before i start moding it out
umm absolutely....its a hemi, no other engine is happier running at high rpm's, top speed limited to 170 on all models

yes. there are local places, at night-- that cops need donuts too-
CJ's answer is great. remember when you are deciding to mod it, that the more air (cold) you can force into it and the more air you can push out of the hemi, the more hp you can make. But before you go all Commander Cody, remember to put meats on your little hotrod that can handle the speeds. have fun.
Yes with no problem, make sure the tires are HR rated.

If you are tuned and remove limiters the possibilites are there. I ran 155 on my supercharged RT with much more to go.. I let off. Before S/C I think I hit 145 without much strain- took out a Porsche repeately that was looking for a run.
Absolutely, I have a 2006 RT, have had it between 150 & 160, must have been a closed course, because that would be completely illegal on the highway! :-)
