Can my car be unlocked with someone elses key ?

Asked by dani_gal Apr 03, 2015 at 09:01 PM about the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T RWD

Question type: General

I drive a Dodge Charger r/t 2006, and last night someone broke into my car. My car was locked, the alarm was on, however there has been an issue with my alarm not sounding if the truck is opened (even when alarm in armed). Last night however I saw someone running away from my car as the alarm began to sound, they however has the drivers side door open. So I was wondering if there was a possibility someone with the same make and model could of used their key to open my car. ?

I have a 2011 charger. I'm sure that I locked the door because I heard the horn sound. The next day when I got in the car my glove box and arm rest was open. The crazy thing is no glass was broken. So the only conclusion I can come up with is someone has to have a master key.
