Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Well I was pulling into my garage when I noticed
that there was a pretty big wet spot on the floor
and check it out it was what I thought it was. So
tonight I stay late at work so I can find where it
was coming from..... so I pin point it around the oil
filter so I hand tighten it up again to make sure it
was tight thought I fix it cuz it wasn't leaking no
more but have found that it will only leak when u
are driving forward not in reverse does anybody
know what causes it to do that and how to fix it?

Change oil lately? The old oil filter gasket may have stuck on the sealing surface. The new oil filter would shit out the old gasket for it not to seal.
I changed the oil back in November it started leaking the last couple days
Check to see if the oil filter is loose or install a new one and top off the oil.
Just had a thought. Is it engine oil or transmission fluid?
I recently changed the oil in my 2008 Dodge Charger RT. I used a mobil 1 oil filter M1- 210A, it leaked. Called mobil said it was the right filter, I went back to autozone and the guy was real helpful. He gave me the M1-210, which is the older model of the prior one. I looked at it and you could see the difference, the boss where the gasket sits on was a fraction higher than the other filter. I put the older version on and so far no leaks. You can still buy the older one on amazon. For me, I;ll be using the Mopar SRT filter. Hope this was helpful.
