Codes p0100/u0700

Asked by Mandell Apr 20, 2017 at 09:07 PM about the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking for best and cheapest way to
handle this issue. My 2006 dodge
charger 5.7 hemi has been loosing
power during high and low speeds, I
guess stalling. Shuts off at light but not
too often, sometimes turn the key a
couple times to get it started. Reading
codes p0100/u0700 ( lost
communication with ECM/PCM). Hope
not too expensive, thanx for reading.

I don't see a po100 for Dodge, otherwise it relates to the Mass Air Flow Sensor on other vehicles. And not much with the po700 code...P0700 DODGE - Transaxle Control System Malfunction...Possible causes; Shorted or open circuit within Transmission Control Module (TCM), Faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM)...Since the P0700 is just and informative code, check the TCM for more codes to resolve the problem.

Thanks I'm trying to do that now. But Dodgy Boy's playing games, shuts off on me and runs fine for them.
