Trying to over heat

Could low resevior level make car run warm? Had thermostat
changed 4 months ago...

If just the reservoir is low it would not make your car run hot but you should fill it up to the "cold" line when the engine is cool or the "hot" line when the engine is warm.

Ok, it didn't run hot, but temp gauge went past the halfway point where it usually runs. So could it be because of low level????
