2006 dodge charger

Asked by jenny Mar 20, 2017 at 11:38 AM about the 2006 Dodge Charger SXT RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Interested in buying a charger 2006. Went to look
at it and immediately noticed that when it came to
the start up, all other lights would pop up on the
dash hoard except the engine light. Is there's
something I should be concerned about ?

Probably not, but take it for a test ride, and go to an auto parts store and have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes. If there are any write them down. This would let you know of any issues with the car.

I would definitely take notice on this. The older Dodge Chargers do not have the best V6 motor or Hemi motor. The dealer could have possibly taken the instrument cluster out and put some kind of black tape over the check engine light. I have seen this done before to cover up that dreadful check engine light.
