I have a 06 Durango and I've had the same issue with the 4wd engaging on its own and the vehicle not moving, where is the plug located for the transfer case? I would like to disconnect it.

"I've had the same issue with the 4wd engaging" - what same issue would that be?

I thought the 06 Durango was AWD with a locking switch on the dash? Have you tried moving the switch back and forth or thought about replacing the switch?
