Durango will not start

I have a 2006 dodge durango and when you turn
the key it wont start. It is turning the belt. When
you release the key it keeps on trying to turn even
you released the key

So it's cranking, but not starting. The second problem is it's cranking without the key being in the "start" position. The second problem is likely due to a bad ignition switch. That switch mounts beneath the ignition lock cylinder and can be replaced without too much trouble (look for a how to video on Youtube). The first problem (not starting) however can be due to any number of reasons. Lack of air, fuel, or spark. At the very least, try jump starting it first. A weak battery might allow engine to crank slowly but not have enough juice to start it.
