Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My car is push to start and as I went to start it
the lights came on as usual but when I pushed
the button I heard one click from under the hood
but no crank? Could this be the starter or ecm or
some other complicated issue?

If it only clicks once I would have the starter tested. But just because the cabin lights come on doesn't mean it has the power to run the starter. I would check the battery first to make sure it's good then the starter if the battery is fine. If the battery is dead I'd have the alternator checked for good measure so you don't get stuck a week later or something again. Any auto store should be able to test all three of these pretty easy.
The battery tested fine but the car is stuck and I have no way of getting it to a part store I can get the ignition to the run position my radio headlights ac fan everything like that works I just hear one click but no turn over
Most likely it's the starter since it stops at one click. I don't know your specific scenario but you'll probably either have to tow it or get a ride from a buddy/family and pull the starter and go have it tested. The starter being bad is about your best scenario at this point. I mean also check for corrosion on the terminals and maybe clean them up and try again for good measure. Maybe try an alternate battery if that's easier, just because the battery runs the cabin doesn't mean it will run the starter. The starter requires a lot more amps than everything else. All I got for you at the moment bud, good luck.
