I have a 2003 Audi A6 3.0l and my steering wheel got very stiff and I could barely turn it. Is this because my power steering is up or I need to put power steering fluid in. Also my battery light came on and I just put a brand new battery in 5 moths ago. I also had a crAckling sound coming from my right side fron tire, disovered I had no bearing in the extention arm. Could this cause the problem with my power steering?.

No I just drove it home and park it in my garage. Had to use my wife car to go to work. I think its the tire rod, but now I don't hear the crackling sound when I turn.

Yes just discovered it has a leak!!!
