I changed the battery in my 2002 Jetta 1.8 turbo. Now it wont start. Starts to turn over and just shuts down. Sounds like some anti theft thing . How do get around it

13.6ish when its feeding off the alternator. Car does that for you, should check both.

Ya anti theft will lock you out at low voltage or even if you lag it up. Try an alternate )((neighbors battery))( have fun too ) thats a safe free starting
