My daughter has a 2004 ford escape. I think the security system has been activated. SHe had started her car when her friend opened the drivers side door quickly. The car cut off and now it will do nothing when you try to start it. I have tried to disconnect the battery and reconnected to reset the security system but it still did nothing. SHe does not have buttons on her key. 1 Answer

have a 2004 ford escape 3.0l v6 2wd, i have replaced the Alternator installed a new battery, the car will only run on jumper cables or a good charged battery. I took the alternator back off had it tested and tested good. So i check the voltage with a meter and get 11.98 an declining due to no charge any help or thoughts on were to turn next 4 Answers
