Why is it that my Acura tl 08 just shut down while I'm driving it down hwy at 60

Driving down the hwy and my car just shuts down and starts
back up  . Then I get home and it will not go in reverse and it's
like the system goes haywire. Any answers please

2 separate issues. Shutting down and starting back up sounds like a fuel related issue. Not going in reverse it's transmission related. Either way it will take a diagnostic done to see if u have any codes to narrow down the problem.
