Stalls like not getting fuel but switch off and back on and run fine until next time. 2000 Sonoma

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 2000 Sonoma runs fine but 2x per week when around town it stalls and applying accelerator does nothing.. Switch it off and back on and it runs fine until next time. Maybe throttlebody or computer. Maybe crankshift speed sensor? Haven't tried to get a code yet.
Mechanic says Chevy has this problem with full size pickups. cause unknown. He says code probably won't help diagnosis.

Fuel filter maybe partially clogged letting fuel by and sometimes not.

Had filter changed a year ago.... Could be....... Doesn't explain why switch it off and back on and runs good until next time...

Maybe the pressure from turning the fuel pump back on forces the fuel past the partially clogged filter. Do you run your vehicle low on gas ? If so there is a filter on the fuel pump in the gas tank that maybe getting clogged also.

Sometimes the gas gets low and you may be correct. I was hoping for a solution that doesn't involve removing the tank. I guess you have to remove the tank in order to replace or clean filter. If I have to remove then I will replace fuel pump also. I will have to hire a mechanic, either way. I guess he will try to get a code, then check throttlebody. I guess it is probably not the computer.. Thanks..

Ok try this may work may not add some fuel injector cleaner to gas tank just maybe a dirty injector
