2012 Hyundai Tucson GL 2.0: Hesitation and Backfire

145

Asked by Jorge Jun 19, 2017 at 04:46 AM about the 2012 Hyundai Tucson GL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The engine hesitates when accelerating, smoothly, from low rpm but it does
not happen if I press the accelerator all the way down.
As for the backfire (from engine compartment), it happens when neutral is
selected and between 2000/3500 rpm on desacceleration.

The most annoying is that it bogs down when I accelerate and then takes off, after a while
