hyundai 2012 tucson awd light comes on intermittently

2012 hyundai tucson  91K well maintained,  AWD light comes on intermittently.
had it checked out at a hyundai dealer and they say need to replace coupler,
seal and harness ,  expensive.  I live in Toronto

Take it to another Hyundai dealer or better yet, Hyundai mechanic and get a 2nd opinion. If you don't use your AWD all the time, why would those parts be so worn now they need replacing? Just my two cents. :)

Had the exact same happen to mine, awd light intermittently started flashing in my Tuscon, was an awd coupler, actuator motor and the harness needed to be replaced. Plus they said I had to put a new harness because it was upgraded.
