Wait until the car is cool and drain the coolant into a bucket. There should be a drain on the radiator - take the radiator cap off so the coolant will drain. If there is no drain then take the lower hose off. Once all the coolant is drained then take the hoses off; if your car is an automatic, take off the transmission oil lines too. There will be a couple of bolts near the top to take off, also unplug the radiator fan power. The radiator should lift out although there might be a couple of bolts at the bottom too. Installation is the reverse. I would flush the engine and install new coolant and radiator hoses while you are at it.
Does the front end have to removed to complete this?
No. The radiator should lift straight up.
Thats probably typical in most cars, but with an "07 XL7, thats not possible.
I'm doing one right now in the shop. The front facsia has to come off. If you loosen the radiator up and move it forward a couple of inches you can take the shroud/fan assembly out toward the engine side with out opening up the a/c lines or the transmission lines. The complete fan / shroud set up through Dorman was about $180.00. I've seen them other places up to $ 550.00.
You can take it out from the bottom on that Suzuki XL7 the core support runs all the way across the top.
