Make sure he tightened the drain screw tight .... and of course ,, make sure you have oil in the engine.

I have the same issue, originally i blamed jiffy lube and they were not conclusive with an answer, they just did the customer service thing and re did the oil change. Weeks later I'm pouring oil out once again... my mechanic said to bring is to Hyundai that the leak is not related to oil pan plug or filter he said to have them check into something behind the heat shield above the drain plug... so more to follow.... the general area is passenger side close to the firewall.

Having the same issue with my 2012 Sonata. What ended up being the problem? Expensive fix or covered under warranty?

Rear main seal went bad on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Caused large amounts of oil to leak. $600+ for repair.

Would this be covered under the 100,000 mile power train warranty?

FYI. There was a recall on 2011-2019 sonatas. Regarding oil leaks due to abnormal connecting bearing ware. Since its a recall they will still take your car out of warranty. Also to note if you got related repairs in the past they will reimburse it.

Oil leak coming from your oil plug you need a new Oil plug washer every time you change the oil you have to replace it with a new Washer
