Mini fuel pump settlement

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had replaced fuel pump 2015 But had done again 2019 this year .
The work had done at not the dealer how can I get my payment back which is
more than $1600 I can not give it up and which has extended warrant so
should be able to submit.
Can somebody help me out pleas?

I called BMW and they said because I repaired the car not the dealer they do not pay back, I can not be convinced.

Well I can add that since you did the work yourself, you voided any warranty you had. Sorry. How would BMW know the fuel pump failed without proof? BMW needs a dealer to confirm there was an issue with the pump in the first place, if it needed to be replaced and then corporate decides if a repair is to be completed, and the dealer is reimbursed for the work through the system. Like FOR said, you have to actually read the warranty documents.
