Yellow low power engine light-2012 Mini

Asked by Gwen Jan 29, 2019 at 02:46 PM about the 2012 MINI Countryman S ALL4 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 mini Cooper countryman all4 Would not
start yesterday. Had the battery checked and tech
said the code read good, but recheck soon. I have
an appointment to have it replaced on Thursday.
When I was leaving work today the yellow engine
light came on, indicating low power. It is currently
-30 wind chill. Could this all be related?

I have a 2011 mini countryman S all 4 and it does the same thing when it gets cold here in Alabama. I reset it like I would the service light and everything started working again. Have you gotten it coded yet?
