check your CV joints for blown out boots, check the wheel bearings and ball joints, check the suspension, it could be any thing but id start there

Thanks. The dealer is replacing my worn tires today, then i'm going to make an appointment for a front end allignment and have everything checked at the same time.

could be a number of things,, from the ball joints, to the tie rods, to bad strutshock mounts, to control arm bushings, even the stabilizer bar mounts and bushings can go bad or get loose. check for loose parts, cracked or broken rubber on any of your suspension mounts, and bushings,... jack it up, with out loosening the tires, try to rattle your wheels... if it does feel loose get behind the tires and see which parts are moving, balljoint, rods, maybe even a wheel bearing...not much can be done ,only so many parts would cause a rattle. hope this helps...good luck!

Thats a common issue with all magnums. check the sway bar links , the outside rods , even the struts bushings , mine is 2006 ,check everything on the front and still has it , a little less but is there........

I forgot to mention that when I apply the brakes the rattle isn't there, so I'm pretty sure it's in the brakes. Tore it down again last night and I found what looked like old silicone on the face of the calipers, so someone else has tried to stop the rattle before i bought it.

I replaced all of the bushings on the front end and now it drives like new. Kind of expensive but well worth it.

If your sxt has a police package which i think means you have a dual piston caliper as mine does, the answer to the rattle is NAPA part UP84229 Brake pad drag reduction clip (anti rattle spring) It fixed what new struts, ball joints, drag link, swaybar bushing and torsion bar replacement didn't--plus the brakes dont squeak anymore! while your at it replace the caliper bushings UP83609 and caliper bolt UP83402 and use lots of the special grease!

does the dodge magnum sxt 2005 have a fuse for the suspension if so where is it located.

why would any vehicle have a fuse for the suspension? There is a fuse for the ABS system but that doesn't have anything to do with the suspension.
