My tie rods are shot, how much will it run me if i have them replaced at the dealer? and how much would only the materials cost? if
its too much to have it done at the dealer me and my friend can do them ourselves but if its cheap enough ill just take it to the
Chevrolet repair shop

The outer tie rods are easy and the dealer would charge around 200-250 for the labor including the alignment. The inner tie rods are a little more work and require a special tool. the dealer would probably charge 300-350 labor including alignment. If you do the work with your friend i still recommend you to get the alignment done. Good luck
well id get the alignment done where i work, we have an alignment machine. how much would just the tie rods cost if i wanted to do it by myself?
Just a guess but outers are about 25-30 each and inners are about 40 each. Look online for better pricing. thats just a guess
