Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Chevy Venture van is giving me a hot coolant temp warning. When i
opened the hood to investigate, my radiator was empty but all the coolant had
been pushed into the coolant tank. What's up? Never seen this before.

Reservoir hose going to radiator collapsing after shutting down engine? Bad radiator cap? Tube in reservoir go all the way down in reservoir tank? Cracked reservoir? Blown head gasket? Clogged hose going from radiator to reservoir? Clogged radiator cap that cannot do its dual function to release and hold vacuum? Good seal from radiator to cap? Hope this helps

Had same thing..bad headgasket and assuming cracked block..got a couple months out of it by pulling the thermostat
