01 jeep no start utill i use start fluid then it stays running untill i shut it off

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that will
not start unless you spray brake clean
or starting fluid in the intake then the
thing will sit and run as long as you
want it to until you shut it off I am
puzzled here any help would be great

What engine do you have if it's fuel injection check cold start sensor for injectors is working when key is turned on.. If carburetor SE if choke is closing when cold also check for vacuum leaks.
