How do you remove the spark plug wires on a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT?

You need to disconnect the plug wire from the distributor one at at time to keep you from crossing the wires. With the wire free from the distributor you can then twist the wire back and forth where it enters to connect to the plug. Twist the wire as close to the large section as you can till it breaks loose on the spark plug. You should then be able to pull the wire straight up from the plug.

Also, you could number the wires with masking tape before starting to keep them straight.

first of all neon has no distributor only coil(s)next lightly twist until the plug wires gently pop off be very careful aluminum head try rocking the plugs loose tight loose with very short twisting action so you don't take threads with you
