Brakes squeaking, any suggestions?

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Brakes squeak and seem to hold slightly. I
changed the pads bc there was some weird wear. New pads and squeaking
still there. any help/suggestions????

check your caliper, make sure the glide pins are clean and well greased or replace them with new ones. The uneven wear may indicate pads are not fully retracting when you let off the brakes. Other than the glide pins you can also check your brake hoses, retaining clips, basically just go through the brake system.

Thanks KenF! I greased the glide pins which were on the dry side & I'm going to see how the brakes respond now!
