2012 Ford Edge A/C blowing hot air.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A/C stops blowing cold air to blow hot air.
Sometimes when it's accelerated while driving it
starts blowing cold air again. Air filter has already
been replaced and when it cools it feels cold so I
don't think it's requiring any freon. What else could
be causing this issue?

Your dashboard is too hot. Try to get a windshield cover. My 09' is the same way. Once i started parking in the shade and covering my windshield from the sun, my AC worked perfectly. Try it.
