Can I get help on opening my center console

Hi I just recently bought a 2012 Ford Explorer XLT but my center console
where the Aux input is doesn’t open.. I think it’s broke or something can
somebody help me or give me advice on what to do to open it without
breaking it

If it has a lid that will not pull up, look for a latch, button or tab around the lower edge of it that faces the driver or the front of the vehicle. Some were made with a grab bar under the front lip as well.
