Rims and ture scraping back when there's weight in the back seat or any kind rough road I hit the rear are scraping the back

I have a 2012 Chevy Impala I change the factory 16 inch rims to 20 inch rims tire size
255/35ZR 20 97Y and now when there's wait in the back seat or I go over any type of
bumper anything rough on the street the back of scraping the tires do I need a smaller
Tire or should I lift a vehicle what should I do

Air shocks are not recommended for lifting cars to clear big tires. They can fail and cause tire/body damage. I would go back to stock or maybe 17" wheels and tires with tires 10-20mm wider than stock but about the same diameter.

I did the same and suffered the consequences. One day my 67 Firebird convertible had all the air shift to one side which cut up the tire and messed up the wheel arch trim. What can I say - young and stupid.
