I have I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota I was going to
replace the radio with a factory Dodge radio out of
a Durango but when I plugged it up it won't cut off
when I turn the key switch off how could I fix it

The wiring diagram is for Dakota radio. Can you turn radio off at radio? See 10 amp fuse in diagram, if you pull that fuse, it should kill the radio. Notice that fuse circuit only goes hot with key on or acc. Could be issue with ignition switch or circuit shorted to voltage. good luck
