Starter works but car won't crank

Asked by Cooley28 Dec 29, 2016 at 01:13 PM about the 2012 Dodge Avenger SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was running fine then the check engine light
came on and started flashing. About 30seconds
later the traction control light came on and the the
electrical light came on and the car died. Now when
you turn the key the starter will engage but does not
crank the engine. What could be it's issue

If the check engine light came on then codes are locked in the system, have the car read to see what the codes are to make the correct repair...
