Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the battery in my remote and now sometimes it works and
sometimes it doesn't.  What could be the problem?

I've had lots of trouble with my remote. The metal disks that make contact with the circuit board when you press the rubber button do not stay in place. There is a strange type of putty that is supposed to hold them but doesn't work anymore. Sometimes my remote will lock or unlock the doors repeatedly with the slightest vibration until I take it apart and put the button back in position. Maybe yours have slipped off as well.
