Coilovers v/s Lowering spring

Asked by SXTYNEON Nov 11, 2010 at 10:19 AM about the 2004 Dodge Neon SXT Sedan FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have been thinking of lowering my neon and looking around alot!..  I came across coilovers and it seems to be the only way i can get a 4" drop. but i know very little about them. Are coilovers better than lowering springs? Any information would be helpful. - thanks!

lowering springs are better i have eibach lowering springs in mine and i dropped it 2 and a half inches its plenty of drop for those cars 4 would be just to much and with lowering springs you at least have some ride quality left and better handeling coil overs are to stiff and wont flex.. perfect if your going in a strait line on a very flat surface.
