Anti Theft System

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I just changed my ignition switch, lock cylinder,
ignition actuator pin, and my starter but now my
anti theft system has immobilized my car. Is there
any way that I can bypass this to get my car
running again? I tried calling Dodge but of course
they want me to bring the car into them.

I've always heard of disconnecting the posit he and negative from battery and touch the two together?!?!?!?
They are correct. Tow it to a dodge dealership and they will program your key or a new key to the car. When you changed components with the ignition, the key is now not recognized by the PCM and the Instrument Cluster. Mechanically yes the key fits, electrically it doesn't...so car says THEFT MODE. Takes a DRBIII or WITech to fix your issue...dealership.
Tape the old key under the column. Take trasponder chip out of new key and voi la.
