IF THE VEHICLE IS PUTTING OUT HEAT,DOES IT MEAN THAT THE THERMOSTAT IS OK?

Asked by Guru9967C Jun 02, 2017 at 04:55 PM about the 2003 Dodge Caravan Sport FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ARE THE COOLANT FANS SUPPOSE TO BE RUNNING AT ALL TIMES WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONER IS ON?

1 Answer

If the car is not overheating the t-stat is probably OK. The fans should run with the AC on. If they did not run the AC would not work well at slow speeds.
