Rear brake, caliper, wheel bearing and cv joint issues
About a month and a half ago I had the rear wheel
bearings, hub assemblies, rotors and brake pads
replaced and calipers rebuilt per my mechanics
advice. Had to put my truck back in the shop 3 1/2
weeks ago bec ABS, Advancetrac, Brake, etc lights
were on on the dash and it was driving terribly!!!!
Upon picking my truck up (15 mins after paying
$1835) to repair master cylinder (amongst other
repairs not involving brakes) all those lights were on
AGAIN!!! My truck was making squeaky squealing
noises, weird grinding and crunching noises which I
could also feel when driving and braking so I knew
the wheel bearing was going out AGAIN! I stopped
at a light and saw serious smoke from my rear
passenger wheel and it smelled like burning rubber
bec the caliper was stuck. Crawled under the rear
passenger side and their was a line that was leaking
with a clip and seal which wasn't even together or
on the line properly because I could spin it with my
finger. Then noticed the CV joint shoe was
destroyed along with grease all in and on the
outside of the wheel well and my wheel/tire is
kicked out a little at the bottom. When I took my
truck to the mechanic the last time is said fix any
and everything that's wrong with my vehicle so
please tell me why this is happening so soon after
picking it up. Is this the mechanic's fault?? I'm just
at a loss for words. I've replace the front wheel
bearings and hub assemblies as well. In all my
mechanic has made over $6,000 off of me in the
last 6 to 8 months!!! Please help bec I really don't
feel I should have to pay for repairs but I also don't
want to make an ass of myself if I'm wrong!!!
