Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Intermittent failure to start, no clicking, cabin and dash lights come on. New battery (1 yr old) Nothing happens. Took it to the dealer. They could not find an issue with battery, charger or alternator.

Anyone run into this problem? Any fix?

Having similar issue with my 02 grand caravan. Difference is it clicks once. Charging system good, brand new battery as of yesterday. I'm suspicious of the starter but haven't had it checked yet

I finally figured out the problem. For cars with push button start, when the fob battery starts to weaken, the car will intermittently fail to start. You need to replace the watch battery in the fob. Problem solved.
