Transmission problems

My truck will reach a speed of
around 15 to  20 miles per hour and
won't shift out of 1st gear then
when it does reach 20 miles per
hour it will shift into neutral and
won't accelerate at all

it may have solenoids in that case they can put a special scanner on it , or just take it to a good tranny shop , expect the worse hope for the best .
