2012 Nissan Rogue Radio Has Power but No Sound through Speakers

I have a base model 2012 Nissan Rogue. It does not have the Bose
upgrade. The head unit powers up and functions seem to work, however no
sound is coming out of the speakers.

I have checked any and all fuses that tie into the radio, and all are good. I did
notice while it worked for a few months I couldn't turn the volume up past 12
before the sound cut out. The head unit has retained power and functionality,
just no sound coming from the speakers

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If this is an after market stereo you may need an interface to link to the computer/ECM or professional help which wont be cheap

Sounds like a bad audio output circuit board, going to be expensive to fix and the unit will have to be recoded by the dealer when it gets repaired if it can be as a lot of audio systems became obsolete. You might be better off budget wise getting an aftermarket system installed. Best Buy, Car Toys or Stereo King for a system.
