Brake lights stay on

Asked by Toune Dec 21, 2014 at 10:12 AM about the 2012 Toyota Venza LE V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brake lights suddenly turned on while the car sat in the driveway, unmoved for over a
day!  The only way we could turn them off was by disconnecting the battery to avoid said
battery from dying!

The whole problem stemmed from the connections for the towing package. It has since been disconnected and will need replacing.

Every thing seem to be fine with everything on the braking system but I need to use more pressure on the pedal and the brakes seem jumpy . Also car seem to pull to the right when this happens is there anything i could tell the garage to look for?
