Oil pressure sensor

I have a '12 chevy silverado 5.3. My check engine light
came on saying I had a bad oil pressure sensor. I replaced
it twice and it's still throwing a code. What can I trouble
shoot next?

Use a mechanical gauge to see if you actually have low oil pressure. I would also inspect the pressure sensor wiring.

Perfect! Thanks! It's just weird because the pressure reads fine. Just says there is something wrong. I had a mechanic do a test and they said it's fine and recommended I take it to a gm dealer.
