2012 Honda Pilot key won't start the Pilot

Asked by Soldier4christ719 Jun 21, 2018 at 06:56 PM about the 2012 Honda Pilot Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So here's the deal...I just purchased a used 2012
Pilot Touring that came with 3 keys. 2 were clicker
keys and the 3rd was a grey valet key. One of the
clicker keys when placed in the ignition will only
turn the motor over and the car will start for a few
seconds and instantly die on me. The other 2 keys
work great!! Anybody have and ideas what this my
be or a solution that may fix it?

When you use the bad keyfobkey, chech the instrument cluster. Is there a flashing green ley before the engine dies? If so, you need a to reprogram it. If not, maybe the thing is out of gas.
