After a couple of cold days and no driving I
went out to run some errands and noticed
that my Pilot had a sort of strange higher
pitch than normal. About 10 minutes into my
drive at interstate speeds the battery light
came on the dash. Just after exiting the
highway my airbag light came on and shortly
after that the ABS light also came on. As I
pulled into a parking lot to investigate the car
had almost zero power and I coasted into a
spot where the car stopped running. I got a
friend to give me a jump start and the car
started and idled with no lights on, and then
immediately after disconnecting the jumper
cables problems again. The car ran for a few
more minutes and eventually just died again.
Now it doesn’t even have enough power to
lock and unlock doors. The dash indicators
only flicker and act possessed when the key
is in the ignition. I would assum alternator but
I’m asking if anyone else has had a similar
problem!?
